I know that weather, innings lengths etc can vary, but working on the assumption that both teams play 50 overs on a beautiful sunny day uninterrupted by rain, what time roughly would the match finish if it started at 10:45am?

  1. Nearly 7 hours

  2. at about 6:00-6:30

14 overs per hour, 100 overs in total.

    roughly 7 hours of cricket.

    30 minute break between innings.

  3. The teams are expected to bowl at 15 overs per hour , so 100 overs = close to 7 hours + the 45 Min's between innings

So the match should finish around 6.30 pm . However not all teams manage this and usually go over the allotted time . This can bring some harsh punishment for the captains of offending teams as Paul Collingwood found out when banned for 4 ODI's

  4. total of 8 hours of play. 3:30 hour for each inning

  5. Around 6:30pm

The second inning would start at around 2:30pm

  6. probably 5:00 as the games are sposed to go for 6 hours but teams are often behind the over rate so add another 15 min

  7. 2:15 approx.

  8. 1.One day game known as ODI lasts for approximately 6hrs + 45mins break.

2.Test match is for 5days where 2 teams can bat 2 times (Innings)

3.Now ICC (International Cricket Council) is trying to promote 20/20 games which last less then 1day game. Difference between these two is One Day game has 50 Overs X 6 pitches where 20/20 has 20 Overs X 6 pitches
