How long does a training sesssion for being a Security Guard last?

I'd like to become a security guard and was wondering how long the training session lasts?

it depends on the company, but i went through a class D license a while back and it was a three day course to get certified, but wasn't given a contract until my background check came back... which took about a week

the training is fast you could get it done in 3 days but what takes long is the guard card its take about 1 to 2 months because of the back round check it goes to the fbi you must have a clean record for you to receive you guard card.
