How long does an Italian visa take to be processed?

I'm a South African studying in the UK, thus I'm on a student visa. I've planned a holiday to Italy but was only able to book a visa appointment two days prior to my departure. I would like to know if that would be sufficient time for the Italian embassy to process my visa??

  1. Since the visa processing time is between 2 to 15 days, You might be getting very close

sometimes if you explain your situation to the Consulate they will accommodate you.

My suggestion is to leave on the latest flight out of London to Italy

that way you have time to Go pick up your Visa that day before you leave.

My friend was in a similar situation last year and the consulate was very nice and processed her visa that same day,but I dont know if you will be so lucky

    Best of luck though
