  1. Incidents stay on your record permanently but for insurance purposes it typically shows up for 3 - 5yrs; however, some states may have it on there for longer if it for insurances.

    Employers may want an even more extensive driving history if driving is apart of your job description but coming from experience they usually only care what concerns the insurance company.
