  1. File a case for illegal dismissal and when the decision is in your favor, the employer must pay bakwages from the time of separation until you are reinstated to your job.


  2. They  have to pay you the hours that you have worked, but have yet to be paid for.

    You could have a week or  two of  final pay coming depending on how often you were paid. (Weekly or Every two Weeks)

  3. most states are hire and fire at will which means they don't have to pay you at all

  4. From a lawyer.  He has to pay you on the next regular pay day.  If he doesn't report him to the U.S. Dept of Labor, Wage and Hour Division.  These guys are quick and cruel.  They will padlock a Sears store if they don't pay.  I've seen their work.

  5. If you are no longer working for him he doesn't have to pay you.
