  1. i honestly dont think any piercing is considered fully healed in a week. It is a puncture wound. Come on. it is going to take time. Depending on how you had it pierced, it will take longer to heal. many people suggest having it done with two rings as the initial piercing. That way, if you accidentally bump one side of the piercing, it doesnt jar the other side.

  2. Dejay hasn't the slightest clue what he's talking about.  No piercings take only a week to heal.  Cartilage piercings can take anywhere from 6 months to a year to fully heal.

Just because something appears healed on the outside doesn't mean it's fully healed.  I guarantee if you go to a professional and ask if they think the piercings are fully healed they're gonna say no.  I'm aware of what lengths of time different body parts take to heal.  The shortest healing period is 2 weeks and that's for a hood piercing, so unless your sister pierced her hood, then none of her other piercings completely healed in a week regardless of how well she cleaned them.

  3. Ok it takes longer then a week.

I had mine done and kept it sterile and cleaned very well. And I apprenticed in a shop so I think I have some experience in how to treat a piercing. And it took me about a month to heal. Because its not just one piercing. Its two. And its actually done with a guage needle like you would use for a tongue or naval.

You have to make sure you cleaning and rotating it. When you sleep you either have to sleep on the other side or on your back or cup your head so you dont lay on that ear, because bacteria and the pressure can iritate your ear.

    Hope this helps.

  4. If kept well sanitized, sometimes less than a week.

Funny, My little sister has four ear rings in each ear along with a lip ring. She's smart and kept it clean and sanitized and they are already healed. Now, maybe you should do some research and get a little educated.

Some parts of the body heal more quickly than others.
