How long does anti depressant withdrawl last?

I have been on zoloft for 7 years, since i was 13. I despartely need to get off of it

if you want to stop taking it talk to your doctor. A lot of meds like anti depressants you need to taper off of them. If you taper off of them like your doctor tells you to you shouldn't have a lot of with drawl symptoms if any at all. If you do experience with drawl symptoms then they would be headache, nausea, tiredness or more a wake and minor things like that.

i was on effexor for years.. i slowly weaned myself off of it.  i waited as long as i could before id feel horribly... (like this electrocution-type feeling in my head, weird i know but horrible feeling, and kinda like a dizzy feeling and nauseous)... and when i couldnt take it anymore, id take an effexor.. than i'd do the same thing again.. and see how long i could go before i started feeling that weird feeling again, and i'd take one... and in between, the amount of days i could go kept extending.. and before i knew it (like in a week or 2) i was completely off of it and feeling totally fine.

it wasnt until recently when i had a baby and got postpartum that i got on effexor again.. but am already starting to wean myself off.

Dude, dont even listen to that last comment. people commit suicide over suddenly stopping these meds. you have to TAPER off them slowly. please dont listen to idiots that tell you to just stop. they obviously dont have a freakin clue! Talk to your doctor but if you dont talk to them taper off slowly! reduce by 1/2 pill for a week at a time at least.
