How long does bakery stay fresh in a restaurant display case?

Most places will rotate their stock and remove within 24 hours.  Some places like Panera Bread will donate unsold food to local food banks nightly.  Supermarkets will have a pull date that you can look for and pick the freshest.

Until they sell it if they can get away with it, for laughing out loud. No, I think most reputable places take out the old and put in fresh each morning.

i say one day..its still in open air and I dont care for those theres always a fly in the case UGH!!!

i just found not to long ..unfortunitly...we bought a cake from my grocery store bakery..giant food /eastcoast....it was

soooooo nasty!!!.latter they say replace those cakes every

couple days...no way it taste like cardboard.
