How long does bottled water stay good?

my dad gave me a case of water that has a date on it sept 17, 2007. he says the water is still okay but if im unsure not to drink it.

Water doesn't go bad.

Water really never gets old... on the other hand some people say they like "fresh" water better (for some reason)! But there is no difference. The only difference is if it is hot or cold!

On a bottle of water, it's normally 1 year from the date, which means that it expires on Sept. 17, 2008.

it may go a bit stale and taste slightly different after a few months, but it never really goes off
