How long does canadian customs keep packages from the US?

i ordered a package from the US worth $1000, and i desperately need it by this saturaday, right now its status is "into Foreign cusoms" and i was wondering when a package is in that status, how much longer does it take for it to be delivered to me? i live in BC

I've had customs hold on to a package for 2 weeks!   Unfortunately they aren't the fastest people on earth.

Customs usually takes about 4 days at the most!  Usually its only a day though.  Id call and see if the carrier can get things expedited with the package.
