How long does chicken have to be in a crock pot to be done?

i forgot to unthaw the chicken i planned for dinner. if i put it on high, how long will it take to cook?

Check internal temp. (minimal 165F) for at least, for a whole chicken, I'd say 4-4.5 hours.

It has to reach a internal temp. of 165*F, no more, no less. If it is a whole bird make sure it reaches a temp of 180*F.

I was always told that your not suppose to put frozen food in the crockpot.  I would put in for at least 4 hours on high and if you put liquid in the pot with the chicken put a little less than you would if the meat was thawed,  because when the chicken will leave waterits thawed in the sink or refrigerator.

Hi there,  Bad news I'm afraid, I have just checked my new slow cooker information sheet. And nope, all food has to be defrosted before cooking.

if you cooked them all day on high they are probably ready!!!!
