How long does fudge stay good at room temperature?

idk but we have had fudge for a VERY  long time in a metal tin. and theres tishu paper on top of it.

Real old fashioned fudge only stays good for an hour or 2.  Then it gets very hard.  Back in the mid '50s, someone found a way to keep fudge soft by juggling the ingredients and adding corn syrup.  It keeps much longer, but doesn't taste as rich as old fashioned fudge.

we have left it out for a week before, and it was fine.

a few days.  keep it in the fridge.. makes it taste way more yummier.  ( iknow thats not a word.. but its MY word.)
