  1. Send him another certified/signature upon reciept letter telling him he has until (such and such date) to remove his belongings from your property. Usually give him 30 days , after the 15th day you haven't gotten a response, send a follow up letter reminding him he only has until such and such date to pick up his belongings or you will dispose of them. If he still doesn't come by that date, remove his belongs and put them where ever you want. At this point it will be considered abondanded property and yours to dispose of however you want.

  2. Send him another certifide or registered letter and tell him exactly what date it will be taken to the street.  Make sure you get the signed receipt back before you do this.

  3. Contact your county court house for the answer.

  4. You should talk to a lawyer about this situation. Once it is deemed abandoned property under the law. Then you can dispose of it properly. However I would not throw any of it away as it would be a total waste. I am sure that there are many people who can use that stuff. You have a opportunity to take a sad or negative situation in your life, and turn it around into a happy or positive situation in somebody else's life by passing it along to those who would appriciate it. You will feel better about it if you use it to do good for others as it benefits no one in a landfill.

Here are some good solutions to earn extra money from his unwanted stuff.

    1. If they are in good shape you can sell them over EBay!

    2. Second hand thrift stores will buy stuff.

    3. Have a garage sale.

    4. Sell to a friend that does flea markets.

    5. Sell to your friends.

Here are some good solutions that will not earn you money.

    1. Give to a friend or relative.

    2. Give to a charitable thrift store.

    3. Give to a church.

    4. Give to a homeless shelter.

I hope this helps, but whatever you do. Please do not throw them away even if they are not in the best of shape!! There are already too many nice or still wearable clothes, shoes, and other items rotting in landfills. :) Hey, if we can use it, we may buy it from you. :)
