How long does it need to connect in Athens Airport (Greece)?

Question

I have 50 minutes to connect in Athens (Greece) from a trip coming from an island to a trip going to Germany. I do not have any luggage except a carry on with me. I am worried whether the airport is large, or if it is hard to make it to the next flight.

If any one has any suggestions please let me know.

One of the nicer things about Greece is their Athens Airport "Elefterios Venezelos" or as I like to call it "Eleftheros Venezuelos (Free Venezuela).

It is modern, staffed with competent people (For the most part), and very clean and organized unlike the Goat rope at Elliniko of years gone by.

Just get off your plane and hike it fast to your connection and you'll be doing fine.

Don't forget to have your ticket in hand also...

Domestic and international flights do not leave from the same area.  So you will have to do some walking.  But you should have enough time provided your flight from the island is not delayed.

Go straight to customer support, and ask for help. You have plenty of time, don't worry. It is large, but not as large as some other airports.
