How long does it normally take for a spiral perm to grow out?

I've had mine since like February, but it didn't do what I want it to, so I started brushing it out a week after I got it. Theirs just like a wave left to it. I would like to know about how much longer I'd have left. I have golden blond highlights on top of it, but their starting to fade, I just want my hair to go back to the way it should be.

they usually last for a year

it will start to fade with in six months from getting it in ... 10-12 months it will be pretty much gone ... but it will not loose its wave until you cut off thoose pieces of hair . good luck ... oh and if you really hate it go see a hair dresser ... ps please vote me best answer I really would appreciate it
