How long does it take 4 at&t to get a package?

my dad got internet servive from at&t but he sent back a package since july and they are still charging him for it.

how long does it take for them to get it?

You'll have to prove to them that they have received the package.  Hope you have the tracking number or sent it back return receipt requested, otherwise AT&T will never "receive" the package.
