  1. a few weeks i think. would i actually have to run? i dont like running. lol

  2. i havent raced one but sometimes we do about 6 miles for our long runs and its uasually about 50 min or alittle longer depending if theres hills. thats about 8.30/mile pace

  3. the last time i ran a 10k was at the end of last summer when i was 17. the course was fairly hilly and i ran a time of 35:40 which is just faster than 6 min/mile. I can probably go a little faster than that now.

  4. I don't use the metric system or whatever but I guess along time.

Takes me 12:01 just to run a mile.

So to do that it would take me 73 minutes hahaha

  5. Forever

  6. Probably about 45-50 minutes. Why don't you just tell us how long it takes you?

  7. It'll probably take me an hour to an hour an a half. I run like 6-8 mins a mile and after all those miles i'd probably be so freakin tired and i would probably have to run half the way. I could run 3 miles in about 25-30 mins so i guess it may take an hour.

  8. It depends on the car I am driving. And the traffic too...

  9. About 50 mins but on treadmill it will probably take me 2 days.

  10. Around 43 minutes (: Last time i did it- when i had no injury :(

  11. well...longer than my usual jog...why does it matter?

  12. 3 days and a lung transplant.

  13. hmm no idea takes me at least 6 per mile...so...idk you calculate it

  14. Months - all those visits to hospital after the heart attacks........

  15. It takes me about 60 minutes.

  16. my fastest is just under 36 minutes

  17. I run it in 38:01

  18. The last time I ran a 10k was about a year ago, I would have been twelve, and it took me just over an hour in poor conditions (it was raining).  Now I'm nearly fourteen and the hope is that I'd be able to run one in under an hour, around 55 minutes.  As a reference, my mile time (a mile is about 1.2 kms) is just under seven minutes.

  19. you should be no slower that 44 minutes

  20. a little longer than it does for me to run the 9Km

  21. I'm a 5'3" female and the last time I ran a 10k (last month)... well I actually ran 0.3 miles more than a 10k... but anyway... it was 4pm and I ran it in 53 minutes...

a lot of things can affect a 10k time though...

Humidity, heat, course (bumpy, hilly, rubberized, etc)

  22. All day

  23. Last 10k I ran I did it in 38:30 or there abouts - just over 6 minutes a mile. For the next one I am going to train for I hope to get under 6 min miles.

A good time is under 45 minutes, average time up to about 55 to 60 minutes. The main thing for a 10k is to keep going all the way (rest for say a minute and the distance isnt long enough to make up the time you rested for)
