Question:

How long does it take a Pothos plant clipping to grow roots?

I'm trying to thicken up my Pothos plant, so I took a clipping (included a section with lots of nubs) and put it in water. Someone said it would take a day for inch-long roots to grow out of the nubs, but I don't see any growth after 36 hours. How long should it really take, and how should I plant the section back into the pot once I get some roots?

  1. Usually not long, but I always just put mine directly into the dirt, and it propagated just fine. :)
