  1. Call animal control, don't let it starve, they will help get it out or tell you who can. Bats are good for eating insects and they don't suck your blood.

  2. Yeah, please don't let it starve....that's so sad, leave the window open...call someboy or something.

  3. That's cruel as h**l dude

  4. Oh my gosh. That is way cruel. Bats are very beneficial...eating mosquitoes and other insects. I have saved many a bat in my day. I agree with snakelady...leave a window open and it will go out. I have covered them, while they are on the ceiling or wall, with a small box, then slid a piece of cardboard  or something under the box, to prevent it from getting out...then release it. But please, be bigger than your fear. Don't leave it to starve!

  5. hahaha grab it with ur hand and then put it outside. lmaooo

  6. Firstly, I'm envious. That would be cool as heck. I understand that you don't feel the same way, though; you don't need to worry, the bat won't try to hurt you. I know it's hard to judge what it's trying to do when it's flitting about at top speed, but it's actually terrified of you and just wants to find its way back outside. It won't intentionally swoop at you and unless you actually grab it, it won't try to hurt you. That would be like if you ran up and started smacking Godzilla's foot; of course you wouldn't do that, you would be running away, and that is what the bat is trying to do, it just can't find a way out.

However, the little bat will die far sooner than a couple of weeks, in fact it probably will die before the first week is over... bats are mammals, not birds, but they still have very fast metabolisms, and need to eat frequently. Call animal control, or better yet, if you can get up the courage to go into the room (I promise it won't get tangled in your hair! That's only a myth, it never happens!) just go in and quickly open the window; when night comes it should fly out all on its own.

  7. I believe a bat has to eat double its body mass every day, so leave the window open for the night and he will probably make his way back out doors, keep the lights out.
