  1. Pressure and heat is how coal turns into a diamond.... Pearls are actually made in oysters not clams. When sand gets into an oyster, it irritates the oyster, so the oyster coats it with a softer white material and after many many years, the grain of sand is coated with many layers of that material, and you have a round pearl. The way most companies make pearls is by placing a large plastic bead in the oyster, so after only a few coats, you have a full sized pearl.


  2. well this is how it  works, sand enters clam, clam goes through pressure and heat. and u get peral after couple years..

    now, u cant really make a peal, but if u want to make a crystal u can

    take a bottle, add sugar (lots)..but must be dissolved into water.. from the lib, hand a piece of sewing string from the lid. keep in the window or somewhere with sun. in a couple of days u will see a crystal form on the string.
