For stable (US, Britin) country it is more dificult to clear their image back to highest level.

The social damage and bitter memories can take decades to get beyond.

No country is the same ever again after a war.

it all depends on what the country is doing to repair its self it it could take 1 year it could take 7 months or it could take 2 years

Years, decades. But look into the stabilization of Italy, Germany, and Japan after WWII. Those countries are doing very well now.
