How long does it take a duckling to come out of its shell after its poked a hole in the egg?

the hole got there last night does any one no how long it takes for a duck to get out of its egg (its day 26 or 27)

It depends on how hard the shell is.If you have to help it do it very slowly.

Sometimes we have to help them.  Wait until tonight about 6:00 and if he's still in there peel off some shell and see if he won't get back to work.  You may have totally get him out.
