I sent a package via international express mail from usps. They say it usually take 3-5 days I sent it today, Saturday morning knowing that Sunday mail doesn't run do you think I would have time to cancel the delivery by monday morning? They said it cannot be stopped if it left the country, do you think it left the country in one day?

  1. It depends on what state it is coming from. Mail does run on Sundays it just doesnt get delivered. If it is express they have a time limit and sunday doesnt count as one of those days so if you bought it on saturday its not going to be shipped until monday. which means you will get it no later the friday. most likely. if they say it ships out saturday then you should receive it no later then wednesday thursday. if it is not delivered in the times frame then you can file a claim and get your shipping cost back. If you have any other questions let me know

  2. It probably hasn't left the counrty, but it is in transit.  Unlike other curriors (UPS, FED-EX, ETC.) the USPS does not consider Saturday a non-business day.  That is why mail is delivered on Saturday.  Your package is probably sitting in a huge truck on it's way to the air port, so you probably will not be able to cancell it.  You should be able to find out a ton more by going to www.usps.com and clicking on the links for international shipping.  Good luck.
