  1. They grow fairly quickly if all things are in order: soil, light, water.  Normally don't let them fruit the first year.  Let them spend their time developing the plant underground.  Second year they will fruit OK and third year to go town.  Then they gradually peter out so you need to be starting new plants each year and removing the old.


  2. Most of it depends on what size plant it is. Mine is young, just 8 inches high, and 7inches wide, and i planted it back in april and it's been producing fruit for about a month now. Mine is a everbearing strawberry plant. Make sure you give yours lots of sun!

  3. Hey-  I think it mostly depends on where you are!  But you get the most fruit after the first year or so,  and watch out, they spread!  In a few years you'll have more strawberries than you know what to do with!
