How long does it take after your perriod that you can get preg.and how long can sperm live inside of you? ?

people told me that it could stay inside for 3-7 days but i heard 1-2 days?

I believe you ovulate 2-3 wks after your last period and sperm can live in side of you for up to 48 hours

you can get pregnant when you ovulate.. if you have 28 day cycles you will ovulate around day 14, if your cycles are longer then they you will usually always ovulate about 14 days before your period starts.

its best to have intercourse for a few days leading up to ovulation, if you want to get pregnant.

sperm can live in you up to a week, and that's really a stretch.  of course it depends on the man and his sperm but 2-3 days is probably the longest most sperm can stay alive.

hello, well firstly you need to work out your how long your monthly cycle is (usually around 27-30) days, day 1 is the day you get your period, you ovulate around 14 days after you period and then your period is due again 14 days after ovulation (this is based on a 28 day cycle) sperm can live inside you 3-5 days but the egg can only live 24 hours so if you are ttc (trying to concieve) you should have intercourse every other day in the middle of your cycle. getting pregnant all depends on your length of your cycle.

most women ovuluate around 14 days before your next period is due.

sperm can live up to 5 days... that's way the best thing to do.. is to have intercourse every second day for a week leading up to your ovulation day.

and just let nature take it's course... being worried and stressed can cause your cycle to go wacky and it will be harder to pinpoint your ovuluation day.
