How long does it take before I can s*x my swordtail fry?

I have some swordtail fry about 3 weeks old. They all have the black tails ( they are red wag swordtails) and are growing quickly. When will the males grow their "sword" like tails?

at 3-4 months of age. they will get their color over time sounds like fun. enjoy. and i hope they thrive

They all look like females until they become sexually mature.  Anywhere from 4 to 6 months depending on their growth.

Wait until they are about 3 months old. Then the males will begin to mature and form their swordtails.
