How long does it take before getting deported back to one's country?

If someone is awaiting deportation in an immigration center, how long will the deportation process take if the person in the immigration center loses his case to remain in the United states?

  1. the procedure varies from country to country

  3. Used to be immediately, but now they hold up to two weeks.  Reason?  They wold deport the same people up to four or five times in a day and strain resources and also by detaining someone they deprive them of being able to work for that period.  Hope this helps.
