Half-life is the amount of time half the drug stays in your system. Half life for .25 mg is about 18 hours. I think you are concerned about elimination. Drinking lots of water and taking multiple vitamins ( for ph ),12 hours before a drug test should delute the excretion down below detectable levels.

Klonopin has a rather long half life.  I believe it is about 72hrs
