  1. what your friends tell you is accurate. beer is not meant to be consumed after three years of storage

  2. It probably won't taste as crisp/fresh, but you will be perfectly fine drinking it.  h**l you probably aren't drinking Heineken for the flavor of it anyway, just drink them up I say.  If you don't mind the taste there is nothing wrong with it, no way you can get sick.  Inside a can is a sterile environment.  It's not like milk or anything, the alcohol is a preservative.

  3. the minute it is made.  it is c**p beer. not an attack on you but it does suck. Try some local American beers from a micro that is true to style and not made for a mass market. fact-(Heineken is the "Budweiser" of Holland)

Many beers are meant to be age for three years or more. I just had a flight of barlerywine beers that range in age from 2-8 years. One beer Bigfoot we had 2000-2005. Each with a uniquely aged flavor, very good. Two other sample range over three years each.

  4. That stuff was bad the minute it came out of the brewrey

  5. If you know for a fact it is 3 years old, do not drink it.  why chance it??
