How long does it take for Immodium to work?

Fairly quickly isn't the dose two to start with, then one for each loose motion, some things don't want blocking up as it makes matters worse.

In most cases Imodium works within an hour of taking it.

Imodium A-D has been shown to provide diarrhea relief in 80% of diarrhea patients within one hour.

For me... the liquid version of immodium works darn near immediately and for a duration that is almost as uncomfortable as the original problem. The pill version doesn't seem to act as fast or as well. But thats me.
