How long does it take for Imodium work?

My partner had 2 tables 15 mins ago but hes back on the loo!

The directions say take 2 tablets and then 2 more after each bowel movement up to six tablets.  Sometimes it does take more than one dose.  Beware though, sometimes diahrrea is the bodies way of getting rid of something that doesn't belong (like germs and bacteria) and you should just let nature take it's course.

Not sure how long it takes. (I guess you're hoping he doesn't 'pass' the tablets out!!)

But, although it's used to stop 'the runs', it may be a case of 'better out than in'. So, let it work it's magic in due course.

an old-fashioned trick I know is to get a newspaper and fold it around the tummy. The paper is cold, so it 'cools' the tummy.

Something that I've found good for dealing with an upset stomach is eating Jacob's Cream Crackers. This seems to absorb all the problem.
