How long does it take for Pennsylvania to issue a vehicle title?

I just paid my car off and I am anxiously awaiting the title. I received a letter from the financer stating that they have contacted the DMV to remove the lien. Does anyone have any experience waiting on a title in Pennsylvania? How long does it take? Any way of expediting the process? Thanks!

  1. Well, it depends on if it was an electronic title, or a paper title.  If it's an e-title, you should have it in about 10 business days.  If it is a paper title - it could take 6-8 weeks.  And, no, no way of expediting it unfortunately.
