How long does it take for a Dairy Queen cake to melt?

depends on how hot it is.. In Phoenix Az it would be compltley melted in under 10 minutes. I would suggest if your doing an out door party and having ice cream cake.. put it in an ice chest on the very top. make sure there is stuff below it to hold it up so the water from ice doesnt get into it

Would depend on temperature.  I mean it'll melt faster on a 100 degree day than it would on a 40 degree day.

Generally speaking you would not want to let it sit out on a table at a party, you would bring it out when you're ready to serve.  It being ice cream and all.

less than an hour!! mine melted all over the place!!!

I would think there would be a lot of parameters, such as how cold the cake is and how hot the weather is.
