How long does it take for a christmas palm to Get its first leaf?

Does anyone know how long it takes it to get a new leaf cause mine have a 2cm sprout and i want to know when it will become a leaf.

If its a young plant emerging on a new plant it will take about three weeks to form into a proper leaf. afterwards the process will speed up and by Xmas, if you have paid proper care and attention. you will have quite a nice plant . Cheers matey.
