Specifically looking for fuel used... found another answer that said fuel use is around 1660 gph

  1. Below is a link to a container ship that consumes 40 ton of fuel a day.  On the average, this converts to approximately 3300 gallon per hour.  Regarding time to cross from China to West coast USA varies from 4 to 8 days depending on cruise speed of ship.
