  1. im not sure about wat those guys said (above) but wat i do knw is that it may 1st is definitely going to fall on a thursday 17 years from now. yea its always that number (17) for every date.

  2. I may be 5 or 6.

6 yrs beacuse it moves one day up every year, but 2 on a leap year,so think about 7 days would take 6 years.

But 5 years if two leap years are included in the period of 6yrs then it would take only 5 years, instead of six for that day to repeat on the same day.

  3. The timing for this is kind of funny.  I bought a really nice date book/planner back in 2003, immediately lost it and just found it again about a month ago.  No problem, I just changed the year, the days are exactly the same- though easter was a month later that year.

So the definitive answer is 5.

  4. im pretty sure its 6 yrs cuz it moves one day up every year, but 2 on a leap year,so think about 7 days would take 6 years.

  5. It's either 5, 6, or 11 years, depending on where the year is in relation to a leap year.

If it's a leap year (like this year) or the year following a leap year, it takes 6 years.

If it's the year before a leap year it will only take 5 years. May 1 falls on a Tuesday in 2007 and again in 2012.

If it's two years after a leap year, it will take 11 years. May 1 falls on a Saturday in 2010, but won't fall on a Saturday again until 2021.

    Edit, just for completeness:

When you near the year 2100, it could be any number. 2100 is NOT a leap year, so things will be very different. I'll be 141 at that time, so I'm not going to lose much sleep over it right now.

  6. May 1st would again be a Thursday in 2014, which is 6 years.
