  1. it depends if their customs snag it.

    avg is 4 days to 8. my husband lives in the to i am a state above you.

    btw check with the us post office as  it cost more to send letters to canada and much more from there to here.


  2. As noted above about 4 to 8 days --- but there are factors.

    1) How do you compute the start time?   From the moment you mail the letter in the collection box or from the time the letter is collected at the box?

    2) Was the letter properly addressed and does it have proper postage?

    3) How do you become aware of the receipt of the letter?

    It actually is amazing just how well post offices get letters and postcards from A to B.   Try this with friends and have them mail post cards to you from several sites in different cities:  Have them enter the location of collection and time and date of both the deposit of the letter and its scheduled collection time.  Then record the time you received the letter at your home.   Compute the time/distance and cost per mile.   And just think a mailed letter is still the most private form of communication world wide.
