How long does it take for a letter to be sent from va to mexico?

ALL mail to Mexico goes thru Los Angeles.  It may take 2 or 3 days to get to Los Angeles, then  a minumun of 3 weeks to get to Mexico.  Depends on WHERE in Mexico and on luck.  I live in Veracruz and some letters take 6 weeks and some NEVER get here.  If this is IMPORTANT, send it by FED-EX.  Fed-ex has a partner in Mexico called Multi-Pack...if you give them the recpients phone and email...they will notify them when it arrives at their office.  In some locations, one must go to their office to pick up the letter.

I send letters every month from Colorado to Mexico City.... some get delivered and some dont. It usually takes 4-6 weeks.  I have also shipped thru UPS and it is alot faster... but more costly.

well it takes a long time to get to mexico because it also has to go through customs. so it really depends how fast they want to push it through. I sent a package from ny to mexico city and they still have not recieved it and that was a year ago so i am assuming it is lost somewhere. I am living in mexico now and i would never have anyone send me anything because it just takes to long to get it. Try fedex or dhl u will have to pay more but it could get there alot faster. good luck

When I was staying in Central Mexico (Morelos) it generally took mail 6 to 10 weeks to arrive.
