How long does it take for a letter to go from US California to Mexico?

i am sending a letter from chino, California to Veracruz, Mexico. How long would it take.

I should take about three full days to get your letter OUT of the United States to Mexico. I would add another one or two days for International transit. And then, If their postal system is anything like ours... it should be another two to three days days to get to Veracruz.

I would guess about 6 to 8 days via regular First Class mail if all the circumstances are perfect and Mexico's postal service is as efficient as ours.

I mailed a letter from La Fortuna de San Carlos, Costa Rica to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma one time, though....... it took almost two weeks!

I live in Veracruz.  One time I got a letter in 10 days....I nearly fainted.  Average is 3 to 5 weeks...somrtimes 5 months, sometimes never.  Priority mail  means NOTHING after it crosses the border so it is a waste of money.  All mail to Mexico goes through L.A.
