Russian state post service works badly.

Think about DHL or so.

From New York to St. Petersburg, such as 2-3 weeks.

It depends on how fast you want to send it.  I have sent a letter to Greece and it takes anywhere between 7 to 10 days.  Russia I am not sure, the post office should know.

It depends on what region,

I have sent some things via dhl to Moscow in 2 days and it took another couple of days for it to get to the region i was sending to.

Normal post can take a long time from what i hear at least a week and it may not even arrive
