How long does it take for a male zebra finch to get back his plucked out feathers?

My male zebra finch has alot of feathers plucked out and I would like to know how long it'll take for him to grow his feathers back and is there anything I can give him to help along the process????

I don't know how long it will take his feathers to grow back in, but formulated diets and labor intensive foods such as while fruits, millet spray, honey sticks and safflower based diets are often recommended.

It'll be important to address the reason for his feather plucking.  This type of behavior occurs for a variety of reasons, including overgrooming, poor nutrition, stress, physical or emotional problems, and environmental problems.
