How long does it take for a package to go from the USA to a soldier stationed in Iraq?

It can depend on where you are and where the package is going to be shipped out.  For example if you live on the California and the person you are shipping to has an address that is based on the West Coast  (AP - Asia Pacific) then it will get there pretty quickly.  But if you live in California and the person that you are shipping is out of the East Coast (AE - Atlantic Europe) it will take the time to get to the APO/FPO on the East Coast and then to the command he/she is with.    The quickest is 5, the longest 15.  

    Then there is the factor of where they are in Iraq, sometimes they will get packages right away but in other places it will take some time.  Normally during the holidays they do try to get them out to them as quickly as possible.


  2. About 10 days.That's how long it took a packet I sent to my husband. It depends mostly when you send it the post office has different rates. Pay more for postage and handling and it gets there quicker
