Parakeet eggs usually hatch within 12 to 14 days, if I remember correctly. Maybe longer (like 16 days).

If your female is kept by herself (or with another female) and is laying infertile eggs, you will want to discourage her from doing this, since laying eggs is very stressful on a bird's health and physical condition.

If you have a male/female pair, you will need to decide if breeding budgies (aka: parakeets) is a responsibility you can take on.
