First - birds don't get pregnant.  Second, it takes a pigeon about 10 days from the time she mates till she lays her first egg.  The second egg is laid about 44 hours after the first.

Now, that ten day statement is an average.   Young or very old hens sometimes take longer, but between 10-12 days after mating is normal for the first egg.
