A question is posted when you submit it. The time for the answer depends on when a person with a solution is on yahoo answers, and is in the category you need the answer in. It also depends on the time when many people are online on yahoo answers. For example at night, there are probably going to be less people.  Many people answer questions they don't know an answers to or don't understand the question. Some people answer the totally opposite thing than you asked or they answer an opinion instead of a fact.
