How long does it take for a "notice to appear" take to become a warrant?

Because an idiot friend of mine says he's

not going to go to court.

I'm trying to convince him to comply but he

said f@!k the police.

Judge will probably order it at the end of the court day.....probably take a couple of days to get into the system.

Tell your friend it's not the police who will end up f***ed

As soon as he fails to appear, he is in Contempt of Court. The warrant will be signed by the judge that day and will be issued to the law enforcement agency within a couple days.

The judge will issue an order as soon as your friend is called before the court and does not appear.  The warrant should be in the computer within a couple of days following that.
