  1. If you were born in this country then you are a U.S. citizen. The government will probably give your mom citizenship if you were born here. She still needs to fill out the paper work.

  2. Seems like you were not born in USA neither was ur mum US resident when u were born. If this is the case, you mum needs to file a petition for your residency in USA, it may take long time but thats the only way.

  3. It will depend on how old you are. Actually, if you're single, your mother could file F2a immigration petitions for you right now, however, those petitions take 5 years before they are valid for use. If your mother files a petition for you once she becomes a US citizen, then if you are under 21, it would take about 8-12 months for her to file IR-2 petitions for you and your brother. If you're under 18 when you come to the US, you'd be eligible for US citizenship yourself when you arrived. If you're over 21, then there's a longer wait. How long may depend on what you're from. If you're over 21, your petition would fall into the F1 family preference category and for most countries, you'd have to wait 6 years. If you're from Mexico or the Philippines, the wait would be more like 15 years.
