How long does it take for a unicorn's horn grow?

My boyfriend just bought me a unicorn and I was wondering how long it takes to grow its horn????!

Unicorns spend a longer time growing than regular horses. The horn just grows as its body does, so that by the time it reaches full maturity, it should have its horn fully in. The horn first starts protruding at around 6 months, and will reach its full size when the unicorn is about 6 years old. This may seem like a long time to wait, but remember that unicorns live forever.

Unicorns are distinct so, until you see a single horn on the middle of it's head you can't he sure that it's really a unicorn. Whatever it's unicorn or not it takes almost same time to grow it's horn like others.
