Left on the earth surface for the sun to attack it, about a year, up to 2.  But put into landfill, a lifetime.

It takes longer to get rid of a stainless steel water bottle.

well, i heard that never, it takes about 100 years.

Plastic?   It will break into smaller pieces, but no plastic ever made has completely disappeared, except what has been burnt.   Your big wheel you had 30 years ago- its probably in pretty much the same shape it was in last time you saw it.
