How long does it take for alcohol to be out of your bloodstream?

if you had six beers and from the time you finished the sixth one, how long would it take for your body to be completely alcohol free? no traces of it whatsoever? i know the body processes one 12 oz beer per hour, but i dont believe its out of my system within 1 hour.....right?

  1. I won't be completely out of your system in 1 hour, but for the most part it will be. Go by the 12 oz/hour rule and then throw in an extra 30 minutes for good measure. So six beers should take 9 hours total to process completely, although it depends how quickly you drink them.


  2. I don't kno it has gone out of ur blood or not but if u got into the habit of drinking it would not go out of the blood till u die

  3. It depends on your individual metabolism and your level of hydration. I would say at least 4 hours for 6 beers but what else are you putting in your body in that amount of time- water, food? It's tough to tell.  Give someone else the keys.
